This makes a great snack for dogs who are on a grain free diet, and this treat is also human edible too!
1 can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans) drained
1 tablespoon of oil (I used coconut oil, you could use olive oil as well)
1 teaspoon (give or take) of cinnamon
Preheat oven to 450. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Put the drained beans in a single layer on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the beans.
Bake for 30 - 40 minutes (depending on the crispiness level you want to achieve). Some chickpeas will pop open, so don't be alarmed if you hear them popping while cooking! Remove the chickpeans and transfer to a bowl. Add the tablespoon of oil and toss.
You can feed them to your dog warm or room temperature. You can store them in an airtight container (or fridge) for about 3 days.
