It's simply one organic sweet potato and some chicken broth. I slice the sweet potato using a mandolin, soak the slices in about 1/4 cup of chicken broth (feel free to use beef or veggie) for about an hour. I preheat the oven to 300 and then place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Put them in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes. Every 10-15 minutes check them and flip them over. You don't want them to get too hard and you'll need to remove them from the oven before then. They harden up a bit after they've been removed from the oven.
I check them every 10 minutes, flipping them, but also removing the ones that are done as they seem finished. They sometimes are different sizes, so the cooking time will vary.
Let the treats cool, store them in a baggie in the fridge, and give to your pups as a treat! They're sure to enjoy!
